Jennifer graduated from Western Michigan University with a BS in Interior Design and spent 17 years in the Corporate Real Estate and Construction field.

She is also co-founder of LAUGH Inc., one of the largest all-women 5K training programs in the country. LAUGH focuses on helping women better their physical, mental and spiritual well-being through running. In addition to being involved with LAUGH, she also sits on the board of the Mattawan Public Education Foundation. This foundation is responsible for helping to create education opportunities for teachers through grants and fundraising. She strongly believes that the best way of personally knowing and serving her community is being an active part of it.
